Here's another one of my incomplete stories. I know that the coming-out stuff too gets old though. But I'm still not completely passed that stage in my life and, at times, I find myself having to write these things for my own sanity. It has plenty of real-life inspiration though it's so utterly fiction. It's very short.

Title: I dun need no stinkin' title
Rating: PG, I suppose.
Warnings: A bit of cussin'. Also, please excuse any errors; I just whipped this up.
Acronym Soup Qualification: The B.

12:19 am - Titles. Pftt. That's for people with complete ideas.

"He was my... companion." Really he knew there was no way to avoid it but that didn't mean that he had to cooperate right away. That was the power of human emotions.

She looked at him, mildly dazed from the odd wording, and finally spoke, "Sorry, what?"

He bit his lower lip, started to speak and then thought better of it. He just repressed a sigh.

"...Theo, was he your," she put extra emphasis on the word, "Boyfriend?"

She grinned and he looked off passed her, his face sour. But her expression showed not mocking; it showed awe and her eyes sparkled. Thalia seemed rather impressed and he was ashamed although he tried not to show it.

"It's ok," she continued, sincerely. "You've always been so shy."

Now she was lost in old memories and Theo knew it. He bit his lip and turned away wishing silently yet hard as he could that the whole thing would just go away; his habit since childhood. What he hated more than his sexual orientation was his sensitivity and avoidance but then that was at least rational.

"If you tell me that you've always known," he said, through his slowly grinding teeth, "Then don't talk to me."

She looked offended and he could tell further by her tone as she spoke, "I never presumed."

"That's not my style."

"I'm glad," he said, keeping his tone even and not letting anything escape. He didn't want her to know how gratified he was to hear her say that.

Thalia carressed the balded left-side of his mohawked head. She frowned as he jerked in response and his breath increased. "Theo, I'm bisexual you know," she whispered soothingly.

In fact this was news to him; happy news and not so much shocking.

No title
Setting info: High school aged students.
Note: This is an exerpt from a larger story I'm writing, but it's a guy-guy moment that I liked enough to post here. Maybe I'll post the larger story when I'm not to... weird about who I show my writing.
Eric, our hero, is in the hospital after a minor car accident. And then it goes from there a bit to some other relevant stuff... still far from the the story as of now, though. Shouldn't be confusing.

1:42 am - Yay! A story!

I was cleaning my dorm today when I found this story that I had started a couple months ago.... I was re-reading it and thinking, "This actually isn't too bad..." so I decided, why not post?
Also... I guess I'll try to continue it. Just because I currently am dating a member of the opposite gender doesn't mean I can't keep this going... :)

So just as awarning, *some* of it is graphic... but as of now, no one's had sex, so it's still only at PG-13. Though I guess by US ratings, it will be R, since there is boob coverage... lol geez it's just boobs!
Oh also some swears (including the mother-of-swears... lol)... I know it's Lj and everyone's used to seeing them anyway, but just in case, I thought I'd warn you.

Preview: Liz, a high school junior, has a crush on Melonie...Collapse )

So there it is... if you read all of it, thanks, I appreciate it. Tell me what you think!
BTW, I also have the next chapter (Melonie) started, but I'm gonna wait 'til I finish it to post it up here.

8:35 pm - Un poema para una chica linda... :)

Anyone here speak Spanish?
If so, you get to read my lovely poem that I wrote to this girl in high school that I really really liked. :-)
If you don't speak it, read it anyway and admire its beauty. The English just doesn't sound good at all. I don't think so anyway.

1:13 pm - Hip Hop Homos

I hope this is all right to post since this isn't *mine*. But I figured it's very relevant. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/onemusic/documentaries/homohop539p01.shtml This is an audio documentary you can download from the BBC all about homosexual artists in Hip Hop. Considering Hip Hop and homosexuals are often considered contraditions and are certainly at odds I believe their stories need to be told and considered. It's 30 minutes long and it's very good.

12:53 pm - Yo yo yo

The name is David. I'm 19, male; live in Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm bisexual. (Not "bi now gay later". No, I prefer "Bi till I die").

I might post some. I do write. But I like the concept of this community and I cannot wait to read more stories.

12:53 am - I suppose an introduction would be a good thing.

Before the story writing begins, I figured I should introduce myself..
oh and if you choose to introduce yourself, you don't have to answer all of the questions I did. :)

Other things you like: I'm a choir nerd, and I have a great love for music. I'm a 6th year Psychology major/Women's Studies minor, so I feel very strongly about women's issues. I love drama, and you can frequently find me auditioning for musicals, unfortunately, most directors don't like women who aren't a sixe 5. :) That's all for now. :)

7:11 pm - Yo!

I'd like to say that this community seems like an awesome idea..... and I feel like a journal whore for posting first. lol so I hope no one minds.... :)
So hi, I'm Becky, I'm bisexual, I'm from Essex, VT, I go to college at Mt Holyoke College in MA..... so that was my quick intro.

Stories.... well, this is a small one that made me happy today.

I was at the Red Cross in Burlington, VT to donate blood and talking with the guy who was asking me the questions. He's Bosnian (there are a lot in Burlington, VT). He was very chatty.... we were talking a lot about jazz and middle-eastern music. We talked about school and studies, and somehow the topic of marriage came up. I'm like, "I don't want to get married until I'm at least 30-- the 20s are the best time of your life!"

He said, "No, you're whole life can be good. Don't rush it, but if you find the right guy-- or the right person....."

It was as if he read my mind.... 'cuase I was thinking, "Guy? Could be... could be a girl, though!!" And then he changed it to person, and I was impressed. I'm not sure if he was directly thinking about how one shouldn't assume one's sexual orientation, but still it pleased me a little.
Pretty ironic that this was at the homophobic red cross....

So that was my short story to start off with.
